100T Ladle Refining Furnace Arc Melting Furnace
Ladle Refining Furnace refers to the equipment that combines th heating and refining function of the furnace. It is an important metallurgical equipment for refining molten steel in primary smelting furnace (electric arc furnace, open hearth furnace and converter), and can adjust the temperature of molten steel and buffer the process to meet the requirements of continuous casting and rolling. Ladle furnace is one of the main equipment for outside furnace refining.
Main functions of ladle refining furnace:
1. Make molten steel temperature rise and keep heat preservation function.The molten steel obtains new heat energy through arc heating, which not only makes it possible to add alloy and adjust composition during ladle refining, but also adds slag material, which is convenient for deep desulfurization and deoxidation of molten steel.Moreover, the opening temperature of molten steel required by continuous casting is guaranteed, which is beneficial to improve the quality of dry casting billet.
2. Argon stirring function.The argon gas is blown into the molten steel through the breathable brick installed at the bottom of the ladle, and the molten steel has a certain stirring function.
3. Vacuum deqi-work energy.After the ladle is lifted into the vacuum tank, vacuum degassing is carried out by steam jet pump, and the molten steel is agitated by blowing argon gas through the bottom of the ladle. The hydrogen and nitrogen content in the molten steel can be removed, and the oxygen and sulfur content can be further reduced. Finally, the molten steel with higher purity and superior performance can be obtained.

Function
1. Electric arc heats up and temperature rises under constant pressure, measure temperature and take samples, finally temperature control is accurate so as to optimize casting temperature.
2. Synthetic slag goes through refining, desulfuration, deoxidation, degasification and removal of inclusions
3. Bottom blowing argon siring. make liquid steel temperature uniform and make components uniform and pure.
4. Alloy fine adjustment makes component controlled accurately. The finally required chemical composition could be achieved with high efficiency through ferroalloy element or aluminum or wire feeding.
5. Being equipped with wire feeder makes liquid steel realize desulfuration and deoxygenation, changes inclusion pattern and distribution and accurately controls alloy elements. And it has high alloy yield, low temperature drop and low environmental pollution.
6. As buffering equipments between primary melting furnace and continuous casting machine, ensure matching production of primary meting furnace and continuous casting, realize sequence casting.
Characteristics
1. Adopting the water cooled furnace roof equipped with dedusting interface of which the size of smoke outlet is adjustable to keep the tiny barotropic atmosphere and reducing atmosphere inside the furnace.
2. Using the cooper-steel composited conductive arm, reducing electrode pitch circle diameter and prolonging lining service life.
3. Equipped with automatic or manual temperature measurement and sampling device to measure the liquid steel temperature accurately.
4. Large current system adopts large-section water cooled cable, compensators and copper-steel composite conducive arm, thus reduce major loop impedance.
